I had several entries to the quiz - thank you all for taking part. From the questions alone it was possible to get 30 points by giving an answer to every element and then extra points were awarded on top of that for amusing and clever answers.

Here are the answers and the results:

1. Name two members of #exeter who have their birthdays on significant festival dates.
The answers to this were:
- Greeneyez (5th November)….maybe a little hint there hehehe!

Some of you noted that this question was made easy by just browsing the www.hashexeter.net calendar! Well i had to give you something easy to start on didn’t i!

Answer:

3. How many residents of The Netherlands were present at the #Exeter 2002 Chippenham meet-up? What are their irc and irl names?

Most people got that it was ‘Nobby’ but fewer knew his true IRL name…Simsea was one of them:

Nobby… IRL: The Earl of Nob. Bonus tho…. he always says ‘hmmm’

5. Which member of #exeter shares their irc nick with a pron fiend of #adultchatzone?

Answer: Greeneyez

Someone informed me that the answer was Scorponok! We all know the truth of where you like to hang out now Scorponok!

6. Name two members of #exeter who reside in the USA.

Answer:
Any number of people really…Makie, Scorponok, Skutter, Sara etc all valid answers.

One person actually managed to get -1 points for their answer to this question on the grounds that they named 3 people and therefore cannot count. Sara back to school now please!

7. Spell Joost’s (Garion) surname.

Answer:
Vunderink.

Well done EVERYONE…oh except Simsea:

Answer:
I’m told there are more than 5 to choose from however the main culprits are Watashiki, Delilah, Belgarath, Urgusabic and Paranoia.

I was surprised to hear from Christel that Eljay has taken up the ancient art. IT IS CHEATING TO START AFTER THE QUESTION WAS WRITTEN!

9. Name the member of #exeter who lives the greatest number of miles away from the centre of exeter as the crow flies.

I *think* the correct answer to this is Scorponok who lives in California somewhere. Most people gave the same answer.

10. Which member of #exeter heralds from the ‘ghetto’. Which ghetto is it?

The answer to this is OF COURSE |Sleg| who heralds from the ghetto of Croydon.
I’ve herad from sara that conditions far north are pretty bad also though:

scorponok… scotland!
