#exeter

As it is Christmas coming up, I thought it would be a nice exercise to have a #exeter “update” of some sort.

I have recently found that although i speak to people frequently on #exeter, i have failed to establish where they are living these days and what exactly they are up to. Now that the channel has grown considerably, it becomes increasingly difficult to keep a track of these things!

To register yourself in the #exeter census, there is no need to travel to your original birthplace like in the nativity story. You just need to click the ‘more’ button…and yes, it is about time i found out about the ‘more’ button isn’t it!!

giving your IRC nick(s) (i will not be publishing real names unless you expressly give permission) and the following 3 points of information:

• Where you are currently living.
• Some indication of how you fill your day (in a serious way) e.g. where you are working, or if that’s too detailed, what you do in your job, where you are studying…whatever.
• One thing that you consider big news about yourself, that’s either happened in the recent past or will be happening in the near future

To get you started, mine would be along these lines:

Name: Greeneyez.
I’m currently living in Exeter with JamesOff. Working for Devon County Council doing database shinanigans having ditched life at South West Water. Planning on getting married to JamesOff in Sept 2005.

If you really want to you can include a pic of yourself but this isn’t mandatory. Hopefully i can get as many replies in as possible before Xmas and maybe if it’s successful we can make it an annual thing.
